At Gloverspiece School, we understand that educational success looks different for all our students. Through combining classroom-based, farm-based and animal-assisted learning experiences, therapeutically underpinned by an ethos of Nurture, we strive to enable achievement for all.
The school has been developed based on the principles of care farming where nature and animals play a large part in the education of the child. From our work with mainstream schools on the care farm we knew there was a need for “something different”.
We want to help children and young people who have high levels of anxiety or additional learning requirements ,who find the mainstream environment too challenging or inflexible. Our individual approach to the timetable plus full time one
to one support has proved extraordinarily successful.
